I’ll make this quick because I don’t have time to write out a lengthy post.
Please keep us in your prayers.
Nate’s car broke down Friday night on his way home from work. Thankfully our insurance paid for all but $40 of the tow and Nate was safe. However, Nate is still trying to figure out what is wrong with the car. After consulting with my dad (who is an expert with car repairs), they concluded that it’s something with the radiator. Nate replaced a couple of parts over the weekend (not easy with the weather being as cold and wintry as it’s been) but unfortunately, the leak continued. He’s taking my van to work this week and will resume working on his car on Friday when he has off. It looks like it’s one of two things right now – one part is semi-easy to fix and not very expensive, while the other is much harder to fix and would cost around $1K. PLEASE pray it’s the easy cheap part.
We just spent $500 on repairs for this car a month ago, we don’t have the money for an additional $1000 with Christmas right around the corner and all! Who does at this point!?
Additionally, I’ve been having awful close-to-migraine-like headaches lately. Being pregnant, the only thing I can take is Tylenol and that does nothing. If I drink a little caffeine that does help some, but not a lot. But when I drink ANY caffeine (even a tiny bit), I can’t sleep at night (it doesn’t matter if I drink it in the morning, I still can’t sleep that night.) I NEED my sleep. My doctor prescribed Tylenol with Codeine yesterday, so thankfully I have that if I do get another bad headache. So far, I’ve been ok today – I’m praying it stays that way.
Baby is doing well – I’ve been feeling little flutters & small kicks, so that’s exciting. I am so thankful.
Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you.
