My youngest two – actually add my oldest to that mix – are crazy. They really are.
I just pulled everything out of Emily’s baby doll carriage. There was so much stuff in there that it’s become her little “packrat hideaway” instead of – you know what it actually is – a doll carriage!
I found all of these socks:
No wonder I’ve been missing socks like crazy lately. I should have known. It seemed like I had an incredible amount of mismatched socks lately. We all know the dryer eats some, but I was starting to wonder. I really should have checked sooner. I know Emily is obsessed with socks.
And my youngest? Our little Joshua?
Well here he is, smiling and almost laughing at his beloved ceiling fan/light:
I was on the phone earlier and he started jumping around like crazy. I told him to go outside. His response? “But Mom, I’m trying to use up all that energy!” I told him to “use it all up” outside.
Just remind me of that later today when I’m hot & tired & ready to check myself into the “mommy mental institution.” 😉
I have this little wooden sign by my computer that my mom gave me last Christmas. It says “Blessings: ‘The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. Numbers 6:24,25.”
I love it because it’s so true. And because one of my kids took a pen and scribbled all over it.
Yes, they are my blessings. 😉
