Tonight, Nate & I are going out. Together, just the two of us. No kids!
It’s been quite awhile since we’ve had a “date night” and I’m really looking forward to it! Some wonderful friends are watching all three kids for us. I am so grateful to them – I know it’s a LOT, but they are amazing. We could hire a sitter (we know some wonderful girls from church) but babysitting is so expensive these days that if it weren’t for our friends, we probably wouldn’t go. After our dinner/movie/whatever else, we’re going to pick up Joshua, but they’re going to keep Nathan & Emily overnight too, so the house will be pretty quiet! I am really looking forward to this! Hopefully we can return the favor soon and watch their kids overnight so they can have a date night too!
Things have picked up a bit since I complained about selling my cloth diapers the other day, so I’m happy. I’ve managed to make $200 selling cloth diapers so far and I still have a good 2/3 of my stash left!
It’s a beautiful day today. I did take the kids for a walk, but this afternoon – while Joshua was napping & the older two were playing outside – I stayed in watching last night’s Grey’s Anatomy. I rarely watch tv during the day, but I had so many friends on facebook commenting on this season finale, that I couldn’t wait. I forgot it was the finale last night and by the time I realized that it was on and it was a 2 hour episode, I knew I’d be up too late so I saved it for today. I do love my Tivo! It was a pretty intense episode. I won’t say anymore for those of you who haven’t watched it yet (although I’m sure most of you Grey’s fans already have.) I love that show – I’ve watched it from the day it began and it’s my favorite show!
