Anyone who knows my husband knows that he will eat pretty much anything, right?
There are two things he does not like and that’s celery & bologna. And while he doesn’t prefer these two foods, he will eat them if the rest of the dish is good enough – ie a casserole or potato salad, etc. And I finally got him to admit that he really does like my Thanksgiving stuffing, celery and all.
Yesterday, I made myself a chicken salad – completely with lots of crunchy celery. (This may or may not be my insurance that Nate will leave it alone. I will say no more.) I had leftover celery and gave a piece to Joshua. He ate a bite and made a face. But just like his father, he has a hard time turning down food. So he continued to nibble it.
I called Nate into the room – it was too funny for him to miss.
