Joshua’s completely recovered from his hospital stay 3 weeks ago; he’s had no issues and he hasn’t needed his inhaler once since the initial 2-3 days home. God has been very good.
He is walking all over now. It’s so funny how all the kids have done it differently. Nathan walked at 9 months, Emily walked at 12 months, and Joshua at 15 months!
Joshua is very busy lately now that he’s walking. He loves to hide things under other things. Ex: tv remotes go immediately under the couch. Fridge magnets get shoved under the fridge or stove (Daddy has that on his “to-do list”.) Plates, papers, toys, anything he can reach get shoved under.
He also loves to throw things out – in the kitchen trash & the diaper pail in the bathroom. That is a lot of fun for us. (Note the sarcasm.) I remember Nathan threw out our tv remote when he was little. We only realized that after it was too late and the remote had missing for a few weeks. Then I caught him throwing out the dvd player remote and figured that was where our tv remote went. It seems his little brother is trying to follow in his footsteps!
Yesterday, he fell and knocked his eye on something. He cried for a couple minutes, slightly freaked me out with the nasty looking cut just over his eye, and then quickly got over it. Today, he has a nasty purple mark all across his eyelid. He’s perfectly fine though & doesn’t seem the least bit bothered. Isn’t that how it usually is with little kids? This is the best picture I could get of it:
