It’s another chilly (55 degrees) rainy day here in New Hampshire and I’m been unsuccessfully trying to get motivated all day. It’s not a bad day, it’s just one of those days where you want to curl back up in bed because it is just icky out and you are tired.
The zantac dosage increase isn’t working as quickly for Luke as I had first thought. We’ve had a couple more long nights with him waking a lot (not hungry, just uncomfortable) and we’re exhausted. Well I’m tired, but I’d be doing a lot worse if it wasn’t for my sweet husband taking over for the weekend and letting me sleep in. So I should probably say that Nate is exhausted now, poor guy! (Thank you, honey! Have I told you lately how much I love you?!)
Luke’s a pretty happy baby but there are times when he pulls his little legs up and cries exactly like Joshua used to do with his reflux and I feel so bad. I know it can take some time for the meds to kick in, but I’m giving it no longer than Friday and I’m calling in to get Prevacid.
We had some good friends visit today and that was a lot of fun. I haven’t seen my dear friend Melina in way too long and it was great to catch up with her while our kids had fun running around and playing. We were both hoping for a sunny day so we could go to the park, but with no luck there, we still had fun visiting inside.
I need to catch up on sharing some recent photos so here’s a few now:
Luke is big enough for his exersaucer now and he loves it:
Although I’m not sure what he likes more – the exersaucer or the attention he gets from big brother Joshua while in it!
I just realized I have very few pictures of Nathan lately -he’s always so busy running around with his friends or playing with his favorite Cat’s Cradle string that I never grab him – I will have to make a mental note to do so!
