Yesterday, I took some extra time to do something “girly” with my one and only little girl. Or as Emily calls it “Only for GIRLS!” We painted our nails:
Stopped to play with Joshua of course:
Looked at Nathan’s new science book:
(Because the boys won’t be forgotten of course!)
And later, we made Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes. This is such a simple recipe, but so fun!
All you do is mix up a cake mix (or you can make homemade), pour it into ice cream cones (I used a mini muffin pan to help stabilize them, although they were still a bit tippy) and bake at 350 for about 25 minutes (time may vary.) I filled the cupcakes almost to the top and they ended up spilling over, so I would recommend filling them to 3/4 full.
Once cooled, frost with your favorite frosting and put sprinkles on. So easy & so fun!
Emily and I had a lot of fun!
I have to point out that I stayed on my diet and did not eat a single lick of anything!
