I don’t typically buy jewelry for myself, so whenever someone gives me a necklace or other piece of jewelry as a gift, I am super excited! Recently I have been loving the hand stamped jewelry as there seem to be endless ways to customize it. In fact, I’ve been entertaining the idea of getting customized pieces for a couple of girlfriends for Christmas. As it turns out, Something About Silver would be a fabulous place to shop for them!
Something About Silver offers so many beautiful things! I love their elegant Layerd Coin Pearl Necklace, the precious New Mommy Neckalce or New Mommy Locket, and the brilliant Grandmother Necklace (what grandmother wouldn’t love that???). They also offer bracelets, rings, some really nice keepsake gifts, and even a few gifts for men!
I received a lovely Family Tree Necklace for review. It arrived in a pretty little box tied up with a satin ribbon, and inside was a cute little canvas pouch containing the necklace. The presentation is lovely and perfect for gift-giving.
The craftsmanship is absolutely beautiful! The charm was sculpted by hand and cast in lead-free pewter (it has the same look and feel of sterling silver, but won’t tarnish as quickly). This adorable, whimsical charm comes on an 18″ sterling silver plated link chain and you can personalize it with birthstone crystals for each family member. Mine came with birthstone charms for me, the hubs, and Samuel.
In short, I adore this necklace. It is beautiful, simple, elegant, personal, and so very me. I put it on almost as soon as it arrived and have not taken it off since! I can’t wait to show it off to my sister over Thanksgiving! I know she will want one too!
The Family Tree Necklace, as well as other pieces, can be found here (prices vary upon selection).
