For the past week, Joshua has been eating 100% solid foods, including dairy & wheat. No formula at all. And his eczema is completely gone! I really wonder if his formula never quite set 100% with him. I remember back in January when he was only on formula and his eczema was still evident, just not as much as before the formula change. I always chalked it up to the fact that it was the middle of winter and with the dry air and all, it was normal to have some. But given that the first time ever that Joshua’s skin is completely clear and he’s not on any formula? I wonder. Regardless, the formula did help him get through some tough months, so I’m glad we put him on it.
I am so relieved that he seems to be okay with ‘normal’ foods now! I just give him some of whatever we’re eating and he chows down and is so happy.
Joshua now has 6 teeth; 4 on top, 2 on the bottom. He is waving all the time now and just last week, he started pointing at things! I’ve never had a baby point this early, so it’s really fun. He’ll go “Ahhh!” and point to something and totally expect you to respond. It’s so cute.
He has this really curly hair on the top back of his head now – I tried getting a good picture of it because it’s really adorable, but this is the best I got – he’s so wiggly now, 75% of the pictures I took were all blurry!
And he knows it too…
I had a little energy today (thank heavens for the Zofran medication, I feel human again!) so I took the kids to the park. It was a gorgeous day – a little chilly at just 70 degrees, but simply beautiful.
Nathan & Emily had fun playing…
…while I tried to keep Joshua from eating the pine bark.
Emily & Joshua swinging – Joshua loves to swing (I remember Emily hated it and screamed if we dared to put her near a swing when she was J’s age!) See him pointing there?
I’m still working on getting pictures together from my dad’s visit – we have so many great pictures, I can’t wait to share them!
