Ok, so you know me – I can’t be entirely wordless, but I’ll keep it brief today.
A week ago (yes I know, it’s taken me that long, but in my defense I’ve been sick!), I finally took Joshua in to get his very first haircut. He doesn’t have a lot of hair in the front, but he had a lot of long curls in the back. I tried to get some before pictures here:
I loved those curls, but they were just getting too long & they were starting to get tangled because he always runs his hands through his hair when he’s done eating = lots of food in hair! It was time to get those curls trimmed.
I would have loved to have gotten some photos of the actual haircut, but as I had to take Joshua to the salon (I took him to where I get my haircut) by myself with all 3 kids and I had to hold him during the haircut, I couldn’t. But he was quite good, aside from being understandably a little wiggly, which we quickly resolved by pulling out a baggy of trusty Cheerios!
And here’s the after picture:
Of course, I couldn’t get a very good picture, but you can see a little bit. It’s not as drastic a first-haircut as some because they didn’t need to do anything to the front of his hair, but it came out pretty good. He’s so awfully cute & is looking more grown up now.
Here he is watching Blue’s Clues (for 5 minutes – he loves the beginning of that show, but then he gets “busy” doing something else and walks off):
He is getting so big! If I weren’t pregnant, I would be feeling the baby bug! But I guess we already took care of that, huh?!
Here he is feeding one cheerio to Abby – he does share, but he has his limits:
Thanks for visiting!
