What is it? Snapshot Saturday is my chance to share a favorite photo (or maybe a few) I took over the week. And it’s a way to challenge myself to keep working on my photography skills.

This week, I took my camera outside. My purple crocuses are blooming and they are gorgeous. Flowers are some of my favorite things to photograph so this was a lot of fun.
The day was slightly overcast so it was perfect for shooting, as it’s difficult to get a good shot in bright sunlight. My favorite settings for this shoot were f/7.1 and 1/250 (shutter speed.) I wanted a blurred background but I didn’t want to blur out the flower itself.
