Have you ever had a hard time sleeping because there’s a lot of noise? Your headphones are too bulky? Your ear buds are uncomfortable and keep falling out? For awhile, I gave up on trying to listen to music while sleeping. There was just no way to sleep comfortably with ear buds or headphones in, so when I had the opportunity to review SleepPhones, also known as pajamas for your ears, I was really excited.
When I received them in the mail and opened up the package, I was immediately intrigued by how soft they were. They are a nice fleece that fit perfectly around your head, without giving you a headache and they really do feel like pajamas. And if you think that fleece is too hot? You can also get their lighter fabric ones called the RunPhones, which would be fabulous for running and I’m sure they wouldn’t fall out (which is always an issue with ear buds).
But back to the SleepPhones. I love to sleep listening to music. Whether that’s blocking out the noise of others in the house or even sleeping on airplanes – it’s just so soothing and comforting. Since these headphones were made to help you sleep, they are perfect for snuggling into bed and forgetting that you have headphones in because you can hardly feel them. They are extremely comfortable and they block out a lot of noise. It is almost as if you can drift into a different place that is always peaceful.
I love this because it can help me fall asleep quickly, despite the noise around me. And when I can fall asleep quickly, the better night’s sleep I get, making me more productive and focused during the day. They would be great for moms who need to take every moment they can to catch up on rest so that they can be ready and awake each day for their kiddos. SleepPhones were actually created by a doctor to help us drift into dreamland easily. The purpose is to increase your sleep because it is so important to get a good night’s sleep.
When my sister came over one day, I told her she needed to try them out. She jokingly said that I should be careful because she was already really tired and might fall asleep. When I let her try them on, she literally did not want to move. She completely conked out (and I thought she was just too precious to wake her up).
As you can see, she plugged in her phone and lay it next to her. These SleepPhones connect to all different types of music devises including cd players, radios, smart phones, ipads and tablets, bedside tvs, ipods and mp3 players, ebook readers, and more! They will pretty much connect to anything.
You can also download free soothing music downloads such as waves crashing, classic piano tunes, and even breakfast sizzling! So if you don’t have music that helps you sleep, I’m sure they will have something here to use as “white” noise. I think this is a great perk to purchasing one of these.
If you’re a traveler, have a snoring spouse, noisy kids, or just have a hard time sleeping, these would be a great option for you. SleepPhones are a fabulous creation that I feel should be a part of everyone’s inventory.
