*You continue to sleep great at night. Bed is around 7pm and you let Mommy sleep & even get a few minutes of “Mommy time” before you wake up at 7:30 am! Mommy is well aware of how blessed she is with this!
*You wear 6-9/6-12 months clothes
*You eat 6-7 ounces 4-5 times a day
*You eat solid foods every day now. You’ve tried and like: applesauce, pears, peaches, peas, green beans, squash, carrots, barley, and rice cereal!
*You are still teething, but still no teeth! Mommy is starting to think you will be like big brother Joshua where you teeth for months and months with no teeth!
*You still have some reflux, but it’s definitely improving. Mommy continues to give you Prevacid everyday to help.
*You sit up great now and will sit for a long time without falling over. And when you fall over it’s not because you lose your balance, but because you are reaching for something and lean over.
*You are almost crawling. You get up on your hands and knees and rock back and forth. You also pivot all around and end up a few feet from where you started. You’re not mobile to where you see something and go straight for it, but you are definitely almost there. Watch out, Mom, here you come!
*You roll all over the place everywhere. This is one way you are “mobile” – you look at something and roll toward it. None of your siblings did this, but you are very good at it!
*You get very focused on something and you completely block everything else out. It’s so funny when you see something new and exciting. You get this serious look on your face and are so intent on it.
*You are so good at reaching for things and grabbing them. Mommy has started putting Cheerios on your highchair tray and you are working on your fine motor skills and picking them up. You’re not really good at that small of an object yet, but you are working hard at it!
*Mommy’s gotten rid of all your pacifiers because you are 100% a finger-sucking boy. Just like big sister Emily and big brother Joshua.
*You still like to sit in your exersaucer and jumperoo but they aren’t quite as popular with you as last month. Now you are much more eager to get on the ground and in the middle of the action!
*You are starting to babble and said your first word – “DaDa!” Mommy was really hoping for a “Mama” but that’s ok, “Dada” is super cute. You babble a lot and get very loud too – you are determined to be heard over everyone else and you are!
Happy 7 Months, sweet Luke!
