I love cake decorating and have recently started getting back into it. Fondant is completely new to me, but I decided to give it a go. I made this cake for our SuperBowl party tonight. It’s not perfect (I’m trying to ignore the couple things that are bugging me) but it still looks pretty neat (I think anyways) and it will taste good.
So here it is, my first fondant cake AND I did a frozen buttercream transfer. It’s 100% from scratch. Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream inside, then homemade marshmallow fondant and more buttercream for the transfer (the Patriots logo.)
What do you think? (Be kind; remember it’s my first one, heehee. 😉

What do I think? I think it is awesome. Perfect and you are too hard on yourself. I have a hard time mastering buttercream icing. Way to go…You should be proud.

Aww thanks Savannah. Sometimes it takes someone else to remind me. 😉

This is really amazing! I don’t think fondant is easy to work with.

Very nice! I’ve never heard of buttercream transfer. What a neat technique! I’ll have to add that to my list of things to try!

It’s so fun! I can’t draw at all, but I can trace!

How cute, I can make tasty cakes, but I can’t do all the fun stuff with them. Guess eating is the most important to me.

Love it! And not just cause it’s the best team EVER 😉
