With a blend of spices, a dash of vanilla extract, and banana and maple syrup as a healthier alternative to sugar, this delicious pumpkin pie smoothie is a great option when your sweet tooth is craving pumpkin goodies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 cup coconut almond milk, unsweetened (you can substitute milk, almond milk, coconut milk, etc.)
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 Tablespoon real maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a blender for 1-2 minutes until well blended.
  2. Optional: add ice to make it colder and thicker

Notes

  • You can use substitutes for the coconut almond milk, just keep in mind the calorie count may be different.
  • Add a scoop of protein powder to keep you full longer. (Again this will change the calorie count)
  • In a pinch, substitute honey for the maple syrup.
