White Chocolate Peanut Butter Snowman Cookies

My children are convinced that they will get to play in the snow this year- even though it rarely snows in our southern town.  They are very disappointed that it is yucky and rainy outside today, but not cold enough to bring snow.  Since we are stuck inside without the prospect of a snow day, we made White Chocolate Peanut Butter Snowman Cookies instead!

White-Chocolate-Peanut-Butter-Snowman-Cookies this idea now...

You just can’t go wrong paring white chocolate and peanut butter. Yummy!

White-Chocolate-Snowman-Cookies

With only 4 ingredients & a few simple steps, White Chocolate Peanut Butter SnowmanCookies is a great recipe for kids of all ages to help make. And what kid doesn’t love playing with their food? Surely coloring on food is even better!  Kids can get really creative with decorating their snowmen using food safe, edible markers.

IngredientsSnowman Ingredients

  • Nutter Butter Cookies
  • White Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • Mini Chocolate Chips
  • Food Safe Markers

Directions

Melt the white chocolate wafers according to package directions.  Wafers are my favorite chocolate to melt, since they melt smoothly and quickly without easily burning- they also doesn’t require thinning with shortening.  You can substitute white chocolate baking bars, candy coating or white chocolate chips if necessary.

Snowman Instructions

Dip the Nutter Butter cookies into the melted white chocolate.  Place the coated cookies on a sheet of wax paper.

Snowman Instructions

Before the chocolate cools and hardens place two mini chocolate chips on the cookies for eyes.

Snowman Instructions

After the white chocolate cools and sets use edible food safe markers to draw the rest of the snowman’s details.

Now, add a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy a perfect winter snack with your White Chocolate Peanut Butter Snowman Cookies!

Oh, these little snowmen are heart stealers! I didn’t realize there are food safe markers – makes an easy project of it all! I like the fabric flower headband, too. I’m wearing a pink flower headband and it caught my eye!
