Supply List for Your Printables

Hello!

Thank you for purchasing one or more products from the Living Well Mom store.

I am often asked by moms how to print and get the best use of my printables, so here I’ll share exactly what I use at home with my own family.

You don’t need a professional printer or expensive items; a few simple supplies will be just fine.

PRINTER

This is the printer I use for my printables: Canon TS8320 All-in-One Wireless Color Printer. It prints beautiful colors. And it fits into a cupboard very nicely.

Because I’m cheap with ink, I only use the Canon printer for printables.

I use a Brothers printer similar to this printer (my model is older and discontinued) and it does a great job for simple printing – school pages for the kids, recipes etc. The color/ink is not as vivid as my Canon printer, but it’s inexpensive.

PAPER

I use regular cheap printer paper for 95% of printables: Amazon Basic Multipurpose Printer Paper

Occasionally I want something sturdier, so I keep a pack of this cardstock paper on hand too. One package has lasted me for 5+ years so this is similar to my paper: Accent Opaque White Cardstock Paper

LAMINATOR

A laminator can be a mom’s best friend when it comes to reusing printables with your family. It preserves and allows you to reuse pages that would otherwise be ruined after one use.

Laminating playdough mats, for example, are essential.

I love my laminator; it was inexpensive and has lasted me a long time. I finally purchased a new one after my original partially broke right after we moved.

This is the one I use and recommend: Scotch Thermal Laminator

LAMINATING POUCHES

Most laminators come with laminating pouches – the clear plastic sheets you put your printable inside.

If you need more, this is my favorite deal: Amazon Basic Laminating Pouches

SCISSORS or a PAPER CUTTER

If you prefer even lines, a paper cutter will be useful, like this one.

Otherwise, make sure you have a pair of regular old scissors around to trim the occasional laminating sheet or cut out a label.

EXTRA

There may be an occasional extra item you want or need, such as command hook clips if you want to hang up a printable chart in your kitchen.

I love these Command Hook clips; I use them inside my cupboards to neatly store conversion measuring charts and my weekly menu.

That’s all! Easy peasy, my friend!
