How to Make Eggnog Chia Pudding
This no-bake dessert is so simple, you almost don’t need any directions. But because Eggnog Chia Pudding is so fun to make, I figured I’d show you a few photos.
You’ll need eggnog, chia seeds, and ground nutmeg. That’s it.
For the eggnog, you can use your favorite dairy-free store-bought eggnog or “nog.” I love both the almond and coconut milk nogs now available at the store. If you prefer dairy, you can use your preferred regular eggnog.
If you prefer Paleo, you will need to make your own homemade recipe. Or just make your own because it’s so yummy, easy to make, and less expensive than store-bought eggnog.
I have two delicious homemade eggnog recipes for you.
This Paleo Eggnog is easy to make OR you can whip up my dairy-free, egg-free “Nog” recipe here.
Directions:
Pour 1 cup of eggnog or “nog” into a mason jar or glass.
Stir in 3 Tablespoons chia seeds.
Sprinkle with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg. I personally love a lot of nutmeg flavor so I go with 1/2 teaspoon, but for most people 1/4 teaspoon is plenty.
Cover and refrigerate for about an hour or overnight.
That’s all you need to do to make Eggnog Chia Pudding!
