Sweetened only with bananas and honey, Banana Snack Balls are a tasty gluten-free snack kids love!
Moms love it too because, with simple, wholesome ingredients, it’s a snack you can feel good about serving your children. You might even snag a snack ball or two yourself!
As an added bonus, Banana Snack Balls take just 5 minutes to make and they’re no-bake!
I love making snack balls because they are easy, healthy snacks for my kids. One of our favorites is our classic Peanut Butter Snack Balls recipe.
Most snack ball recipes are no-bake and involve throwing a few simple ingredients in the mixer or food processor. They’re ready to eat in almost no time at all after the kids can help roll them into little balls. My children love snack balls even more than I like to make them…and that’s saying a lot!
Bananas are one of my kids’ favorite fruits and they’ve been asking me to create a banana snack ball recipe for months. So a couple months ago, I decided to give it a try. It wasn’t just me; all four of my kids were with me in the kitchen, happily taste-testing along the way.
After about a dozen attempts, my kids gave me a two thumbs up and I knew we had our Banana Snack Balls recipe.
This Banana Snack Ball recipe is truly a kid-tested and kid-approved gluten-free snack!

One tip: I’ll sometimes make a double batch and store them (unrolled) in a sealed container in the refrigerator. When my kids are packing their school lunches, they take a chunk and make their own balls. They love to sometimes make mega snack balls!

Why does it look like you have chocolate chips in your snack balls? If there are chocolate chips how much do you use and why isn’t it listed in the recipe? I was also wondering how bigs do you make them and how many balls do you consider to be an appropriate serving size? I would love to try this recipe for the children in my sunday school class?
