This post brought to you by TruMoo. All opinions are 100% mine.

This quick & easy Cookies 'n Cream Milkshake recipe is a favorite family treat, for both the kids and mom and dad! this idea now...

Today, I had a hilarious conversation with my youngest, Luke, on the way home from taking Joshua to kindergarten.

Luke was disappointed that I wouldn’t let him play on the school playground this afternoon. I explained that it will be his playground too when he is big enough to go to kindergarten. And he might even have Mrs Roman (Joshua’s teacher) too.

Luke was very excited and responded, “Mom, can you help me grow please? I need to be big. I need to grow up.”

Ad-midst hiding my chuckles, I assured Luke that he would grow big and I would absolutely help him. And I took that chance to remind my picky eater that eating his dinner every night, especially chicken, veggies, fruit, milk and other good things would help him grow bigger faster.

Now, will Luke actually remember this when it comes to finishing his dinner tonight? Probably not, but I can hope. And also be thankful for some great options, like nutritious and delicious TruMoo flavored milk.

TruMoo flavored milk is a favorite in our house. Every serving contains 8 essential nutrients and there’s no nasty artificial growth hormones or high fructose corn syrup either.

Kids love the delicious flavors – there’s vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry with holiday varieties for even more fun. And parents will love knowing their kids are enjoying a nutritious treat.

One of the best parts of TruMoo is you can use it in recipes too. Yesterday was Veteran’s Day and as a special treat for their day off school, the kids and I made this delicious and super-easy-to-make Cookies ‘n Cream Milkshake.

This Cookies ‘n Cream Milkshake recipe is super easy to make and the whole family will enjoy the creamy flavor and chunks of chocolate cookies. And who can say no to whipped cream and an extra cookie for the topping?

We used TruMoo Protein Plus milk for our recipe. (Our store was all sold out of the other varieties – it shows how popular this flavored milk is!)

I’m glad I tried this version because it’s just as delicious and it’s nice knowing we’re getting extra protein with our treat. There’s 25g of protein per serving!

Trying this after school today. My 4 year old is a HUGE Oreo fan, but he’s not too keen on milk. Hoping this will get him to love BOTH!

I did this with the chocolate milk and chocolate ice cream and it was heavenly. I also did the original recipe but I have always been a chocolate person. I say go for it either way and enjoy.
