You just can’t go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate! These cookies are not only delicious, but also quick and easy to make. With only 6 ingredients they are the perfect choice for Christmas baking with children. My children are always proud to give their dance and Sunday school teachers a package of cookies that they made themselves.
We always at least double the recipe for these yummy cookies, otherwise none would ever make it out of the house for gift giving. Since the dough for our Peanut Blossom Cookies doesn’t contain any raw eggs, I often allow the kids to save a small bowl of dough to play with like play dough (and eat) when we’ve made enough cookies. And I always buy more than enough Hershey Kisses, because the children are pretty good at sneaking several in their mouths instead of onto the warm cookies.
I hope you enjoy making one of our favorite cookie recipes this Christmas season. I bet it will quickly become one of your favorite cookie recipes too!
Ingredients:
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups biscuit baking mix (like Bisquick)
- granulated sugar
- Hershey’s Kisses
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Beat sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter until smooth. Add vanilla and biscuit mix, mixing well. Expect your batter to be very thick!
Shape into 1 inch balls.
Roll in granulated sugar and place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 6-8 minutes.
Gently push an unwrapped Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each warm cookie. The cookies will crack and crinkle as the Kisses are pushed into the cookie. Allow to cool and enjoy! If you are in a hurry to set the chocolate, try putting the tray of cookies in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
