Do you love Starbucks Iced Green Tea Lattes, but dislike the expensive price and sugar overload? Then you’ll love today’s recipe!
This creamy and naturally sweetened Iced Green Tea Latte recipe is a healthier copycat version of Starbuck’s popular iced beverage. And it can give you a natural energy boost that will keep you going longer without the caffeine jitters.
It’s very easy to make your own Iced Green Tea Latte; you can whip one up in just 2 minutes! All you need is a blender and a couple simple ingredients.
This homemade Iced Green Tea Latte recipe is way better than Starbucks, in my opinion, because:
#1 It’s much cheaper.
#2 It’s healthier (good-bye 30 grams of sugar in every ‘tall’ latte) and even Paleo-friendly!
#3 It’s guaranteed allergen-free if you’re sensitive to dairy, soy, etc.
#4 More convenient – you can whip up a homemade iced green tea latte faster than you can find your keys, walk to your car, and drive down to Starbucks, much less wait in line!
I adore matcha green tea recipes and I’ve come up with a few favorites:
Matcha Green Tea Latte | Matcha Green Tea Energy Balls | Matcha Green Tea Fudge | Matcha Green Tea Smoothie Bowl
So you really had to pull my leg to experiment with another matcha green tea recipe *wink*.
The result is this deliciously light and creamy, perfectly flavored and not-too-sweet, but not-too-bitter Iced Green Tea Latte.
This recipe is dairy-free, soy-free, and doesn’t have any refined sugar. I use liquid stevia, though you can use erythritol, cane sugar, coconut sugar, or your preferred natural sweetener.
I also use almond milk (super cheap at home!)
You can even use chilled coconut milk in a can and whip up a dairy-free whipped cream topping to make it even more like the original.
What You’ll Need to Make this Iced Green Tea Latte Recipe:
Note: I came up with the amounts while using almond milk and liquid stevia. If you choose to use another milk, such as regular milk, coconut milk, cashew milk, etc., you may need to adjust the quantities.
