This homemade Iced Green Tea Latte recipe is way better than Starbucks, in my opinion, because:

#1 It’s much cheaper.

I adore matcha green tea recipes and I’ve come up with a few favorites:

Matcha Green Tea Latte | Matcha Green Tea Energy Balls | Matcha Green Tea Fudge | Matcha Green Tea Smoothie Bowl

So you really had to pull my leg to experiment with another matcha green tea recipe *wink*.

The result is this deliciously light and creamy, perfectly flavored and not-too-sweet, but not-too-bitter Iced Green Tea Latte.

This recipe is dairy-free, soy-free, and doesn’t have any refined sugar. I use liquid stevia, though you can use erythritol, cane sugar, coconut sugar, or your preferred natural sweetener.

I also use almond milk (super cheap at home!)

You can even use chilled coconut milk in a can and whip up a dairy-free whipped cream topping to make it even more like the original.

What You’ll Need to Make this Iced Green Tea Latte Recipe:

Note: I came up with the amounts while using almond milk and liquid stevia. If you choose to use another milk, such as regular milk, coconut milk, cashew milk, etc., you may need to adjust the quantities.

  • Author: Erika Bragdon
  • Prep Time: 2 mins
  • Total Time: 2 mins
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 3/4 cup almond milk (or your dairy-free milk of choice)
  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder (this is the version I use)
  • 1/8 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 10–30 drops liquid stevia* (I use about 15–20 drops – you may want to add more if you’re used to a lot of sugar)
  • 1/2 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Blend the almond milk, matcha green tea power, vanilla extra, and liquid stevia until frothy.
  2. Add the ice to your glass and pour your matcha green tea latte on top.
  3. Add a straw and enjoy!
  4. (Note: you can add more ice if you prefer, though it will water down your iced latte as it melts.)

Notes

*You can use your favorite sweetener for this recipe, like erythritol, coconut sugar, cane sugar, etc. You may need to adjust the quantities to your desired taste.

Enjoy your Iced Green Tea Latte!
