A place for everything and everything in its place.
I’ve discovered a key tip when it comes to organizing: Labels.
Labels have changed how I’ve organized my home.
It’s as simple as acknowledging where something belongs. Once you label something, you don’t have to think about it anymore. You know exactly where your stuff belongs – both when it comes to putting it away and (most importantly) finding it later.
In my quest for becoming more organized, I’ve found some awesome online resources. In this post, I’m going to share my 10 favorite free printable labels for organizing. Yep, you read that right – free. It’s doesn’t get better than that!
I usually print out labels on regular computer paper, cut them out, and tape them onto the container/bin/shelf, etc. that I’m labeling. Depending on where I’m using them, I might “hand-laminate” them with clear packing tape which instantly increases their durability.
You can buy Avery labels that many of these label templates match up with. I’ve also heard good things about the Martha Stewart labels at Staples. (They’re on my list to check out next time I visit the store.)
